Welcome to the York Country Day School Curriculum map.

Good curriculum is fluid and responsive to the needs of the students. At York Country Day School, our curriculum is a dynamic document. It is continually evaluated and refined by teachers working with the administration and each other to ensure that our students are challenged at appropriate academic and developmental levels.

Teachers update their maps monthly, allowing the reader to track the direction of the class and the progression of skills throughout the year. If you would like the most current information you may want to visit the map on a regular basis. If you choose to look "ahead" you will see a record of what was completed last year; this year's activities, specific assignments, etc. may vary slightly. This is a changing, working document that we, as a faculty are proud to share, in its working form, with each other, our colleagues from other schools and current and prospective parents.
